How to use this site - some instructions

Hi and welcome

This is a very simple site to use.
Once you login you will notice on the right hand side at the top your name, and some links to things like inbox and alerts, friends and settings.
Try looking at these things to customise how the site interacts with you. You can invite your friends and family (please do) so they can track your updates through the tie before you leave, and while you are in Sri Lanka.
You can customise your page. Your page cane be found in the top menu bar (called My Page) and it can have a different theme (select from many pre-made themes or edit your own). Add a profile picture as well so people know who you are.

There are a number of main content types you can create.
You can create blog posts to let others know what is happening, provide information or just say whats on your mind.
You can create events with dates and times and locations for planning meetings, the trip itself etc.
You upload photos and videos.
You can create a discussion forum about a certain topic if you want.

You can also comment on any members page
